Support Worker
About This Role
We're looking for experienced Support Workers to cover flexible agency shifts across Middleport and the wider Stoke-on-Trent area. You'll be working in supported living services, helping vulnerable adults who have experienced homelessness to rebuild their lives and maintain their tenancies.
This is a rewarding role where you'll make a genuine difference - supporting people with day-to-day tasks, building their confidence, and helping them develop the skills they need to live independently.

What You'll Be Doing
- Providing person-centred support to adults who have experienced homelessness
- Helping service users develop independent living skills, including budgeting, cooking, and maintaining their home
- Supporting with tenancy sustainment and preventing repeat homelessness
- Building positive, trusting relationships with service users
- Assisting with appointments, activities, and accessing community services
- Keeping clear, accurate records of daily activities and support given
- Attending regular supervisions and team meetings
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 months' paid support work experience in the last 2 years
- Experience working with homelessness or vulnerable adults is a plus, but not essential
- Mandatory training completed (or willing to complete with us)
- Up-to-date DBS
- Right to work in the UK
Pay & Benefits
- £14.24 – £22.41 per hour (including holiday pay)
- Pay rate depends on shift type - not experience
