Support Worker (Driver)
About This Role
Nexo People is recruiting experienced, caring Support Workers on behalf of a wonderful care service in Crawley, West Sussex. You'll join a friendly, supportive team, helping vulnerable adults to lead full, independent lives - always putting their dignity, choices, and independence first.
This is a permanent role with a clear, transparent pay structure based on your current experience and qualifications: £12.71 per hour at Band 1 (entry level, working towards your Care Certificate), £13.10 at Band 2 (with a Level 2 Diploma and medication administration), and £13.50 at Band 3 (with a Level 3 Diploma and shift-coordination responsibilities). You'll also earn an extra £0.50 per hour for overtime beyond full-time hours.
A full UK driving licence is required for this role, but access to your own vehicle is not essential - a company vehicle is available on-site.

What You'll Be Doing
- Providing person-centred support that builds each individual's independence and confidence
- Supporting people with personal care, meals, medication and daily routines
- Helping individuals stay active, including community access, hobbies and appointments
- Following personalised support plans and keeping clear daily records
- Promoting each person's health, wellbeing and safety, and knowing how to raise any concerns
- Administer medication safely and accurately, in line with your training and each person's support plan
What We're Looking For
- At least 3 months' paid UK experience as a support worker or carer in the last 2 years
- Full UK driving licence - access to your own vehicle is NOT essential, a company vehicle is available on-site
- Mandatory training completed (or willing to complete with us)
- Up-to-date DBS
- Right to work in the UK

Pay & Benefits
- £12.71 – £13.50 per hour, with a clear, transparent banded pay structure
- Band 1: £12.71/hr - entry level, working towards your Care Certificate
- Band 2: £13.10/hr - with a Level 2 Diploma and medication administration
- Band 3: £13.50/hr - with a Level 3 Diploma and shift-coordination responsibilities
